I've been published!

About 2 months ago I had a book publisher contact me about one of my Charleston images that they found online.  They said they were interested in using that image for an upcoming children's book about Charleston.  We reached an agreement, and I sold them the usage rights to use the image in the book.

As some of you know, I also love photography outside of just taking pictures of people.  Anytime I travel anywhere, I try to shoot as much as I can.

The book was released this month, and the above picture is an image of the book cover.  The book actually looks really cool.  It is available at most Barnes & Noble book stores, and at amazon.com.  I reserved my copy at the local Barnes & Noble, and I will take some pics of it as soon as I get my hands on it!

You can view it at amazon by clicking here.

This is a really big deal for me because it's the first time I have ever had an image published in a book!  We are so blessed to work with so many wonderful wedding clients, and to get other kinds of images published is really just icing on an already wonderful cake!

Anna

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph Anna. A wonderful high school senior.

We shot a in the studio for a little while, and then we went outside and walked around town looking for some cool backgrounds and textures. In an old small southern town like Fountain Inn, that's not hard to find.

On to the pictures!

I think Anna could easily be a model. What do you guys think?

Back to our regularly scheduled programming!

Yes, I've been a bad blogger! I'm sorry, please accept my apology.

We got back from Disney about 6 weeks ago, and we have just been crazy busy since. Between shooting weddings, and the ton of other photo sessions that we've had, I have really neglected this blog. Getting work completed for our clients has simply taken on a higher priority than updating our blog.

We will continue to be crazy busy over the next month until things slow down for us mid-November. We have 3 weddings in the next 3 weeks, and numerous other sessions. I still intend to start updating you guys on all the stuff we have been working on. We are at least 10 weddings behind on blogging, and probably 3 times that on bridal and engagement sessions.

Come back tomorrow to check out a high school senior that we shot just a couple of weeks ago.

:)
